I
started at Holborow and Tapsfield in 1987 at the Gibbet Street surgery
where I started my pre-Veterinary Nursing training and moved to our larger
and newer premises in 1997 at Pellon Lane.
After passing my exams I began Veterinary Nursing training on day release at Myerscough College, Preston - where I was the oldest student! Fortunately I passed the two year course and now work at the Elland surgery.
I have taken further courses in animal behaviour, pet nutrition, dentistry and have been able to attend veterinary congress several times.
I have several pets - a German Shepherd, 'Maddie' - who keeps me on my toes, and an older cat 'Oscar'.
