Customer Satisfaction
- We aim to provide a first class service to all our clients. If at
any time you are unsure about the treatment your pet is receiving, please
ask.
- We believe that our clients like to see familiar faces. We will do
our best to maintain continuity of treatment. If you wish to see a particular
vet, please ask when you make an appointment.
- Appointments will be available every day of the year.
- On average ten minutes will be allocated to each case although certain
consultations may take longer. Waiting times for our clients will be
kept to a minimum.
- We are always interested in your suggestions of ways to improve our
service, please speak to any staff member.
Emergencies
All branches can cater for emergency treatment on weekdays between 9am
and 6pm, outside these hours we provide a 24 hour emergency service
with trained staff on-site at West Mount Veterinary Health Centre, Halifax
for emergency operations and medical care.
- Telephone your local branch first, your call may
be diverted to Halifax if your branch is unattended.. Emergencies will
take priority over routine appointments, but please always telephone
first so that we are prepared for your arrival.
Other facilities

- Special clinics including weight-watchers, puppy parties and geriatric
health assessments (well-pet clinic).
- Preventative health-care including vaccination, routine health checks,
advice on treatment for worms & fleas
- Pet micro-chipping (to help identify your pet if it is lost or stolen
- or for the Pet Travel Scheme ('Pet Passports').
- Open days, group talks and client evenings
- All our surgeries have computerised case records
Terms of Business
- In order to keep our costs as low as possible we expect you to pay
in full at the time of treatment.
- We accept most major credit cards, Switch and cheques (with
a card).
- We will provide an estimate of costs on request before undertaking
treatment.
- If finance is a problem, please discuss this with us before
treatment commences.
- We strongly recommend that all pets are insured for veterinary care
- this means that treatment is always affordable
